# Migrating to Nexthink Adopt in Infinity

The next step forward for organizations using Adopt (Classic) is to combine its powerful digital adoption capabilities with the comprehensive analytics of Digital Employee Experience (DEX). 

To make this possible, Nexthink offers a [fully integrated version of Adopt](https://docs.nexthink.com/platform/user-guide/adopt)—seamlessly built into the **Infinity** platform.

By transitioning into the built-in Adopt version within Nexthink Infinity, you gain:

* **Faster, scalable in-app guides:** Quickly develop guides using predefined library content, built-in default configurations, and AI-powered localizations/analytics.
* **More control over guide targeting:** Set granular permissions and role restrictions for guide visibility. Set up monitors to receive alerts when guide overlays break.

2. [Configure target web applications](https://docs.nexthink.com/platform/user-guide/applications/configuring-applications)
   * Optionally, [import application templates](broken://spaces/xRNHSyDPQWi1gx43dX0d/pages/9ZO9TsrKmmyGN3a81eIz) with predefined key pages and CSS selectors.
   * Alternatively, install preconfigured Applications from [Nexthink Library](https://docs.nexthink.com/platform/library-packs/applications), including applications such as Workday.
3. [Recreate and publish guides in Nexthink Adopt](https://docs.nexthink.com/platform/user-guide/adopt/getting-started-with-adopt)
   * Unpublish guides on standalone Adopt(classic).
4. Remove standalone Adopt(classic)
