Q: What challenge can I address using the ‘Targeted Content with No Views’ Insight?
A: Content not being viewed.
Using a long timeframe, any items that are listed within this insight are potential problem areas in which the targeted content is not being viewed.
This insight helps you to manage content efficiently in terms of retiring or updating materials that users aren’t viewing. Trends that can be spotted using this insight are great to help with re-strategizing content plans i.e. if all content with no views is in a certain language, it shows this translation isn’t potentially needed in future and the budgets for this could be reallocated to a more beneficial resource.
Option 1: Smart Page to remind users that content is dynamic and changes to be relevant to the page that they’re on. Include a button to pop open Split Screen to reveal guidance that is available on that page.
Option 2: Tooltip with button to link directly to specific guidance documentation.
Option 2: (recommended for more mature environments 12-18m post go live) Implement in-flow-of-work guidance using Tooltips, or Sequenced Tooltips to guide a user through a process live. This saves them time looking for information in lengthy documentation and just serves them bitesize information at point of need.
