# Deriving Insights

This is your guide to deriving insights and optimization points from Adopt Analytics. Our powerful Analytics engine and easy-to-read dynamic dashboards come together to provide you with a self-service 360 feedback loop on the success of your application adoption and the Adopt platform itself.

The guide will show you five examples of insights to look for in Analytics, and how to address the challenges using Adopt.

The format is simple:

1. Short summary of what the Insight is and where to access it
2. Example of challenges that the Insight can address
3. Examples of data and behavior to look for in Analytics
4. AppLearn’s recommendation of how to optimize Adopt to resolve the challenge
5. High level business benefits of the optimization

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs-adopt.nexthink.com/core-analytics/deriving-insights.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
